Techdirt has an interesting point here. With eBook pricing they say publishers set prices to cover their fix cost, resulting in baking in their existing (outdated) infrastructure. Online stores like Amazon work the other way round and evaluate prices that generate the maximum of sales and adjust their infrastructure accordingly. Interesting. via techdirt
