What is my fan base?
what is the outcome of posting videos of your last gig / set on youtube, mailing out to fans, maintaining facebook or myspace profiles, etc. when you don’t  know who is getting involved, who actually following your viral campaign?
Thank god for coders, of course there are some very useful online tools that enable you to keep track based on analytical data of on fanbase growth, fan engagement and/ or online music streams across multiple platforms.
Some of this even track the geolocation of plays and/or fans helping you to understand where what is happening. So if you plan your next tour why not follow your followers, the impact you already made?
